TYPO3Camp Munich 2025: Community, innovation and practical knowledge
Have the article read aloud.
The TYPO3 community meets again near Munich! From September 12 to 14, 2025, the Puchheim Cultural Center (PUC) will open its doors for the 18th TYPO3Camp Munich. I will be there again this year as a sponsor and look forward to exchanging ideas with you.
What exactly is a barcamp?
Unlike traditional conferences with a fixed program, the schedule of a barcamp is created on site. At the beginning of each day, a session planning session takes place where all participants can suggest topics. You can offer your own session, but you don't have to - you are also welcome as a silent listener!
The sessions will then be allocated to the available rooms and time slots. The great thing about this is that the topics that really interest the attendees will be covered. You can ask questions, initiate discussions or share your knowledge. This democratic form of knowledge exchange is what makes barcamps so special and lively.
Why the TYPO3Camp is worth your time
What makes the TYPO3Camp so valuable? It is the unique mixture of knowledge exchange at eye level, spontaneous sessions on current topics and personal networking. You not only learn technical content, but also expand your professional network.
The conversations during the breaks, at breakfast and lunch together or at the social event on Saturday evening are often just as valuable as the sessions themselves. This is where new contacts, project ideas and sometimes even friendships are made. All catering is included in the ticket price - you don't have to worry about anything and can concentrate fully on the exchange.
Who is the TYPO3Camp suitable for?
The great thing about TYPO3Camp is that it is open to anyone interested in TYPO3, regardless of their level of experience. From editors and integrators to extension and core developers - people with a wide range of backgrounds and levels of experience come together here.
The barcamp format is ideal for beginners in particular, because you can ask questions at any time without feeling embarrassed. Experienced TYPO3 professionals who have been working with the system for years also get their money's worth, because the direct exchange with like-minded people always brings new perspectives and approaches to solutions.
A typical day at the TYPO3Camp
How does a camp day actually work? Saturday starts with breakfast together. Then it's time to plan the sessions: everyone can present their topic idea in a short introduction - anything is possible, from technical depths to project management and future trends.
After planning, the participants divide up into the various sessions, which take place in several parallel tracks. In between, there will always be breaks for networking. The social event on Saturday evening marks the end of the event - a great opportunity to round off the day in a relaxed atmosphere.
Sunday starts in a similar way and usually ends in the early afternoon.
What should you bring? Ideally a laptop for practical exchanges and note-taking, alternatively a tablet or notepad will do - whatever you prefer.
The real value lies in the combination of in-depth specialist knowledge and a direct line to the community. This not only makes you a better TYPO3 developer or integrator, but also gives you the edge you need for successful projects.
Be there!
The tickets for the TYPO3Camp and the workshop can be booked independently of each other. For detailed information on prices and accommodation options, please visit the TYPO3Camp Munich website.
Both events will be fully booked quickly - so make sure you secure your place in good time. And don't worry if you've never been to a Barcamp before or don't feel confident enough to offer your own session: The TYPO3 community is known for its openness and helpfulness. You can participate as you wish - actively present or just listen and learn.
I'm looking forward to an inspiring weekend with you and am excited to hear your topics and ideas!

Who writes here?
Hi, I am Wolfgang.
Since 2006, I've been diving deep into the fascinating world of TYPO3 - it's not only my profession, but also my passion. My path has taken me through countless projects, and I have created hundreds of professional video tutorials focusing on TYPO3 and its extensions. I love unraveling complex topics and turning them into easy-to-understand concepts, which is also reflected in my trainings and seminars.
As an active member of the TYPO3 Education Committee, I am committed to keeping the TYPO3 CMS Certified Integrator exam questions current and challenging. Since January 2024, I am proud to be an official TYPO3 Consultant Partner!
But my passion doesn't end at the screen. When I'm not diving into the depths of TYPO3, you'll often find me on my bike, exploring the picturesque trails around Lake Constance. These outdoor excursions are my perfect balance - they keep my mind fresh and always provide me with new ideas.
