There is exciting news! The TYPO3 v13 roadmap has been announced, and it promises some notable improvements and enhancements that will further enrich our work with TYPO3.
What's new
TYPO3 v13 focuses on simplifying common tasks and improving the backend user experience. Some highlights are:
- Frontend rendering presets: These new features will increase efficiency when building websites.
- Improved backend usability and accessibility: A smoother and more accessible backend experience awaits us.
- Integration of external systems: Enhanced capabilities for connecting to other platforms and services.
Technical requirements and release plan
TYPO3 v13 will require PHP 8.2 and Symfony 7 to ensure that the platform remains at the cutting edge of technology. The release series includes five releases that will run until October 2024, with the Long-Term Support version receiving support until October 2027.
