From chaos to clarity: how AI has changed my business

You know that feeling when you're overflowing with ideas but just can't find the time to implement them?

I used to feel like that a lot. I had countless plans for new video courses, blog articles, social media content and workshops. But there were only 24 hours in a day - and at some point you reach your limits.

While others were producing content seemingly effortlessly, expanding their reach and launching new projects, I often felt like I was on a hamster wheel. I worked a lot, but the growth fell short of my expectations.

I thought: either I need a team - or I have to drastically lower my expectations.

The turning point: AI as a productive helper

Then I started to not only try out AI tools, but to strategically integrate them into my workflow.

I was skeptical at first. I didn't want generic, soulless AI texts or semi-automated solutions that would cost me more time than they would bring me. But as I delved deeper, I realized that, if used correctly, AI can be your productivity booster.

Suddenly everything went faster.

🔹 Structuring content - texts that would otherwise have taken hours had a clear structure in minutes.
🔹 Idea management - thoughts that were chaotically floating around in your head became concrete concepts.
🔹 Automation of recurring tasks - Instead of wasting my time on routine processes, I was able to focus on what really matters: creative work, strategy and exchange with my community.

Today, I regularly produce video courses, stream on Twitch, write blog articles, hold training courses, am an official TYPO3 Consultant Partner and active in the TYPO3 Education Committee - and still have enough time for my family and free time.

Using AI - but the right way

Here comes the crucial point: AI is not a substitute for creativity or expertise.

It doesn't do the thinking for you.

It doesn't make decisions for you.

But it can help you get from idea to implementation faster.

Many people only use AI to "get something written quickly". But the real benefit lies elsewhere:

✅ As an idea booster - instead of sitting in front of a blank document, I start with an AI-generated outline.
✅ As a research aid - I can get summaries, comparisons and alternative perspectives in seconds.
✅ As a productivity booster - I can complete routine tasks such as creating social media posts or structured documentation more efficiently.
