What changes for integrators with TYPO3 v14

TYPO3 v14 brings fundamental changes for integration. Site sets replace previous approaches. Fluid 5 comes with new ViewHelpers. TypoScript objects behave differently. And the Sitepackage, which you have been creating in the same way for years, works according to different rules in v14.

The problem: The documentation is distributed. Blog posts only ever cover individual aspects. And in day-to-day project work, there is often not enough time to systematically work through all the changes.

This workshop gives you a complete overview in one day. Structured, practical, with a real site package as a common thread.

Wolfgang Wagner (that's me) has been working with TYPO3 for 19 years. As a trainer, course creator and member of the TCCI Task Force in the TYPO3 Education Committee, I know both the practice and the theory behind the changes in v14.

What you should bring with you

  • Your own laptop with a local TYPO3 v14 installation (installed via Composer)
  • Software for file editing (PhpStorm, Visual Studio Code or similar)
  • Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Basic experience with the command line
  • TypoScript and Fluid should not be completely foreign to you

Important: Install TYPO3 v14 locally on your computer, not on an external server. Test beforehand whether the installation works without your company WLAN. If you have problems with your setup before the workshop: We will be on site from 8:15 am to help you. If necessary, you will receive installation instructions from me in advance.

The workshop will take place one day before the TYPO3 Developer Days 2026 (August 6-8, also in Karlsruhe).

If you are already there: I can only recommend the Developer Days as an integrator.
Three days full of talks, workshops and exchange with the TYPO3 community.

But as I said, the workshop ticket is completely independent of the conference ticket. You can also just attend the workshop.
