About me
I was 14 in the mid-80s and sat in front of my first computer. A Commodore C64. My father needed a calculation program for his quotations, so I wrote one. During my training as a nurse, computers remained my hobby. I created my first websites on the side.
I had my first contact with TYPO3 in 2002, and from 2005 onwards I implemented TYPO3 projects for clients alongside my main job as a nurse. I made the switch in 2012 and have been working full-time with TYPO3 ever since.
Over 1,200 customers, video courses with hundreds of lessons and a place on the TYPO3 Education & Certification Committee have grown from this.
What I learn in real customer projects and in the committee flows directly into my courses and into the community.
That's what drives me: helping TYPO3 professionals to work cleanly and become better.
I create spaces where TYPO3 professionals can learn from each other and improve together. Technically and as entrepreneurs, at eye level and with real impact.
What I do today
I help self-employed people, freelancers and agencies to understand TYPO3 properly. Without marketing hype, without unnecessary complexity. My focus: integration, training and long-term support.
- Video training for TYPO3 v13 (available in German and English)
- Masterclass with live sessions, support and networking
- 1:1 coaching and technical support
- Business Roundtable: Digital with TYPO3 (community for freelancers, freelancers and agencies)
- Community Hub for TYPO3 at t3forum.net
What I'm currently working on
I rarely stand still. This is what's keeping me busy right now:
- TYPO3 Complete Course: One course. All versions. Always up to date. With live sessions and community. Currently in preparation.
- Business Roundtable Community: Monthly meetings for TYPO3 freelancers and agencies. No technology talk, but business strategies, exchange of experience and honest discussions at eye level.
- t3forum.net: The community hub for TYPO3 is growing. An open platform for everyone who works with TYPO3 or wants to start.
- TYPO3 Education & Certification Committee: I work weekly on the official exam questions and syllabus for the Integrator certification.
My contribution to the TYPO3 community
I have been a member of the TYPO3 Education & Certification Committee since 2022. There I actively shape the exam questions and the syllabus for the "TYPO3 CMS Certified Integrator" certification. This means that I not only define what TYPO3 integrators should be able to do, but also test them.
I support TYPO3 camps as a sponsor, co-founded the TYPO3 Usergroup Bodensee in 2012 and run t3forum.net, an open platform for the entire TYPO3 community.
What I stand for
Clear, comprehensible and without fuss. I'm not interested in just showing TYPO3. I explain it so that you can actually use it. With real examples, simple language and the knowledge from over 20 years of TYPO3 practice.
If you're stuck on a TYPO3 problem, I'm not the type for hours of theory lectures. We look at the problem and solve it.
My conviction
Those who learn TYPO3 properly and work properly deliver better projects, have more satisfied customers - and earn more in the end. This requires sound knowledge and a willingness to learn thoroughly. No shortcuts, no copy-paste solutions.
That's why I expect you to be prepared to really get stuck in when working with me. Whether in a course, coaching or support: I'll give you everything I've learned in over 20 years. But you have to take the step yourself.
